Welcome to my Webpage!

My identity as "webmaster" has been dormant for many years. From floppy disk to CD-ROM games, geocities to angelfire, ICQ to AIM, Xanga to Myspace, Limewire to μtorrent, I was a "computer kid" from my earliest memories. In the 90s, children's media was obsessed with entering the digital world (cyberspace, the web, the network, etc.); it now seems inevitable that I would create and maintain a Digimon fan website for approximately 6 years, through my early adolescence. Through this hobby of mine, I explored my creativity, found community across many lines of difference, and played in the sandbox of the World Wide Wild West.
We believed ourselves part of a global community bound together through the boundless possibilities of digital life. We were "Netizens": Citizens of an unboundaried frontier. Digital gardeners. The early Internet was radically creative and beautifully revolutionary. Put another way, the vibes were sick. We had a nerd fort with a "No corporations allowed" sign hanging at the entrance.
Well, this may be retrospective romanticization. The reality was more like 13-year-olds with banners on their sites reading "Proudly hentai free" and giving intensive mental health intervention to depressed men in their 40s. But hey, it sure helped me grow some capacity for empathy and compassionate listening.
My first page will likely be a classic About Me page. There I will go into more details about who I am today, what I do, and what I am dreaming into being. For now, I'm glad to be back in the language of HTML and the aesthetic of Middle-era Geocities.
